Hi. I have been busy looming any chance I get. I am making some hats and mostly scarves right now for charity. This loom knitting craft also helps me to relax, besides being fun. I store the thick, warm scarves in storage tubs in my home through the Spring and Summer warm months, and then when I have enough in Fall/Winter,I will donate them to different charities, like homeless shelters and other charities, to help people in need of them.

I love just making scarves “as I go”, and lately I have been practicing different stitches on them as “sampler scarves”. I think they look pretty, as well as being warm.

I wish I had a scanner so I could upload photos of my loom knitted items for you. Oh, I’ve also been crocheting flowers and then adding them to my girls/women’s loom knitted scarves. I just began doing this.
I learned it by “free form crochet”.

Do an Internet SEARCH for “free form crochet”. You can learn how to make little crocheted shapes, which can be sewn onto your loom knitted and other fiber craft projects. I am a beginner at free form crochet. I want to mix it with
my loom knitting projects. I think *any* on-line crochet site would have directions on how to crochet flowers, though.
