Double-sided knitting board vs round loom
Friday, October 22nd, 2010Using anything except the double-sided knitting board is very much like two-needle knitting and that, as far as I know, always has a right and a wrong side. Only if you want to take the time to do a seed stitch, then both sides would be the same (to me loom knitting it is a lot faster than needle knitting and I can get lots more done in a shorter amount of time, especially if you use the larger gauges; one nice thing about loom knitting is there is no seam to sew up after you make a hat or some tube slippers..once you take it off the loom you are truly finished).
