Making a crochet hat

I do my crocheted hats in the flat. For an adult with worsted weight yarn one strand, and a size H hook.
Chain 36 single crochet in the first five chains, half double crochet in the next five chains, double crochet across to the last chain.
Chain 3 turn and double crochet in the doubles, half double in the half doubles, single in the singles. (more…)
